RWM and MRE/CARS Exhibitions Postponed.

Roar Techmedia the event organiser for the RWM exhibition have taken the decision to postpone RWM until September 2021. Likewise the Environment Media Group, organisers of the MRE and CARS exhibition have come to the same decision.

The pandemic has decimated the exhibition industry throughout the world. I know the decision to move the exhibitions to next year will come as a relief to a number of exhibitors. The uncertainty created by COVID 19 made planning for the exhibitions extremely difficult. Our sister company The Adworks does a lot of work for exhibitors, graphic, brochure, stand design, etc., and many customers were worried about spending money on a stand for an exhibition when they are not 100% sure it will go ahead. The problem is even more acute when the exhibitor is trying to import a machine from abroad to display at an exhibition, the last thing anyone wants to do is pay for importing and transporting a large machine which isn’t sold and can’t be exhibited. It is a dilemma for exhibitors.

The decision to postpone has been welcomed and planning can begin for the shows when they take place next year.
