The new Konti J-series bigger, stronger, heavier.

Possibly the best known and most successful European, fully automatic channel baling press, the Konti, has been updated and the result is the Konti J series. The emphasis of the Konti J series has been placed on robustness and reliability which has resulted in an increase of 30% in the balers mass. The new KONTI J is larger, stronger and heavier than previous models yet incorporates a host of new technical advances and features.

The KONTI J offers many new features throughout the machine and control system. The strengthened heavy weigh channels provide strength to produce high density bales in even the most demanding of materials. Larger wire slots ensure easier passage of the tying wire and reduced breakages. Even plastic wire can be used.

The channel on the XL version is 900 mm longer than standard making it especially suitable for baling plastic. Other features include optimised knife, stamper and channel design, modern axial piston pumps with low drive power and advanced positional ram measurement system.

Pictured above is the first new generation KONTI V 600 J. Boasting 160 tons of pressing force, a total length of more than 14 meters and a total weight of about 50 tons this baler is destined for the Balearic Islands.
